Weekend reading

Another week has been and gone, another weekend approaches.  To tell you the truth, almost every day is like a weekend to me now, and every work day a holiday. Life's good.  Thanks for all the wonderful comments this week and for your continued interest in my blog.  I hope you have a great weekend. I'll see you again next week.   ♥︎

  1. Since I am a resident of South Carolina where the spraying killed the bees I would like to say that the media has blown this up into way more than it was. It was a very isolated area and while we all hate what happened we are not happy about the response. Another thing that is never mentioned is how marshy that area of the state is and that mosquitoes are a real threat. It would have not have happened if proper warnings had been in place. I think that the focus should be more on the everyday threat to bees by pesticides which is a far bigger concern.

  4. I love your bowl of wool, how much longer lasting than a fruit bowl :-)

Thanks for the weekend reading links, there's a really good assortment of topics there to keep us all happily browsing for an hour or so. Time to grab myself a coffee and get comfy I think.

    Have a good weekend. xx

  7. Thank you Rhonda for the link about longer lives. It makes me rethink my life as a working mum in her early thirties who is too busy with everything. There will be no break at the end, so I'd better get on to achieving more balance right now. I love reading your blog, but I am really scared to take the jump myself. Most people who's opinion I value warn me that life without (intellectually stimulating) work is not for me. But right now, there is no balance either... so food for thought. Love Hannah

    1. Kristy, one of the ex-mods at the forum, cuts and pastes small portions of my old blog posts on Instagram. I go there when I have time and sometimes I comment.
